  • Is it a problem if I have indoor pet(s)?
    Not at all. ScottyK cleaning representatives are more than happy to work around indoor pets, and this is definitely one of the matters we discuss with you prior to our arrival because we want to ensure a safe and happy experience for both you, our cleaning representative and your pet(s).
  • Does someone have to be home at the time of the cleaning service?
    No, but it is important that ScottyK’s cleaning representative: is aware of the status of the home prior to their arrival; and that they can access the property.
  • What should I do before and after ScottyK arrives?
    Before a ScottyK cleaning representative arrives, you should: Ensure access to your home, either by being present, leaving a key, or using a lockbox or keypad. Secure your pets and inform ScottyK of any special instructions or precautions about them. Inform ScottyK of any specific areas or items that need extra attention or care, or that should be avoided due to health and safety concerns. Clear the area of clutter and remove any personal or valuable items from the areas to be cleaned. After a ScottyK cleaning representative leaves, you should: Inspect the quality of the cleaning and report any issues or concerns as soon as possible. ScottyK welcomes your feedback so be sure to participate in our feedback process.
  • What does ‘Insured’ mean?
    It refers to Public Liability Insurance–protection in the event of injury or property damage. ScottyK Cleaning Service holds a current Public Liability Insurance policy.
  • How do I give you access to my home?
    There are many access options available which we will discuss with you prior to our arrival.
  • What types of cleaning do you do?
    Please refer to our Schedule of Services to view the range of cleaning services offered. However, if you don’t see what you’re looking for please don’t hesitate to get in touch and let us know about your specific cleaning needs.
  • What does 100% Clean Guarantee mean?
    ScottyK endeavours to deliver any cleaning service to the highest standard and in accordance with the agreed Terms and Conditions – 100% Clean Guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with the work performed, then you must contact us immediately so we can work with you to rectify the matter as quickly as possible.
  • What are SWA Standards?
    SWA refers to Safe Work Australia – a government agency. ScottyK Cleaning Service complies with or is guided by Safe Work Australia’s standards, codes, recommendations, and best practices for performing cleaning tasks in, but not limited to, residential and other type homes, childcare facilities, schools and workplaces.   • Why do ScottyK Cleaners hold a current National Police Certificate (NPC)?
    An NPC, sometimes called a national police check, is a summary of a person’s criminal history records held by all policing agencies Australia-wide. Rest assured, ScottyK Cleaning Service obtains an NPC on all potential cleaning representatives.
  • What if I don’t own a vacuum cleaner?
    Don't worry because we've got you covered. The ScottyK cleaning representative brings the cleaning equipment, chemicals, cloths, and PPE required to perform the agreed cleaning tasks to the best and safest possible standard.
  • How do I book a ScottyK clean?
    Contact us via our Contact Page or directly on 1300 140 593. After we have talked about your cleaning requirements either over the phone or face-to-face: We will provide you with a 30-day fixed cost quote. Upon your acceptance of the quote, we work out the most suitable time to schedule your clean. Prior to the day of the appointment, we invoice you for the amount quoted. Prior to the day of the appointment, you pay the invoice in full. Within 5 days of completing your cleaning service, we will get in touch for the purposes of reviewing our performance.
  • Do you guarantee I will get my bond back?
    The short answer is no – ScottyK Cleaning Service is not party to the determination for bond refunds. However we will deliver the best cleaning service possible and help you get your bond back. Nevertheless, we offer a 100% Clean Guarantee on all our cleaning services so please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further information and support.
  • How does payment work?
    Generally, you will be invoiced with full payment required prior to any work commencing. Payment options include Cash, Direct Debit or PayPal.
  • Does ScottyK clean in my area?
    We provide cleaning services to residences and businesses in the Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia. Refer: Moreton Bay Regional Council suburbs
  • How to redeem the Gift Card at the checkout?
    It is so simple! To redeem the Gift Card, the recipient heads over to www.scottykclean.com (link below) and chooses the Gift Card that was gifted to them for purchase. During payment, select the Redeem a gift card option and enter the unique gift card code that was provided. There will be no purchase cost, charges or fees associated with the redemption.
  • How do gift card recipients get their ScottyK Gift Card?
    The gift card recipient (which can be the purchaser) will receive an email with the subject line "You just got a gift card from [name]". Important: The email will contain a unique gift card code.
  • Do our Gift Cards expire (Terms and Conditions)?
    The short answer is yes, so please read the following Terms and Conditions applicable to each Gift Card offer. Current Gift Card Offers: The $100 Gift-of-Time Gift Card includes all cleaning tasks referred to in the Basic Residential Cleaning Service Schedule - House / Unit. Other cleaning services may be discounted by $100. General Terms and Conditions: The Gift Card is a digital card activated by a code sent via email. The recipient of the Gift Card can exchange it for cleaning services offered by ScottyK Cleaning Service for the value of the Gift Card. The value of the Gift Card or part thereof cannot be exchanged for cash. The Gift Card can be used as part of payment for other types of cleaning services available. Gift Cards are redeemable for the period specified at the time of purchase and will not be honoured after a valid expiry date has passed. The Gift Card is free of any fees or charges by the recipient. These Terms and Conditions may be updated frequently at the discretion of ScottyK Cleaning Service.   • How to purchase a ScottyK Gift Card?
    Select the Gift Card of choice from the Gift Card page on the site, Enter the recipient's details, Set when you want the card delivered, and Pay. After completing checkout, you will receive email confirmation about the purchase. Tip: You can also buy Gift Cards for yourself and gift the email.
